Skype It Up
Skype had its 150 Millionth download the other day. 150 Million. That’s more than there are people in Australia. I’ve been using it for a while now… and I’ll be damned if I don’t know why it’s not so popular.
Skype is voIP (Voice over IP). For those of you who have no idea what it is, VoIP is calling people over the internet, and Skype (from the makers of Kaaza) makes it simple to use. Think of it as voice MSN/AOL/ICQ. Even on a capped cable connection, (slower than dial-up) I can still manage to have a normal phone quality conversation with someone. Oh… did I mention it’s all FREE? Go and download it right now from http://www.skype.com/… install it… and enjoy. It’s just farking cool. My username’s phonejohnsee… skype me ;)

Hell yeah, I tried this out the other night with Johnsee and the thing is great! Perfect clarity 98% of the time.
I’m trying to get some of my slack mates to install it too.
