Watched second ep, and its just as good. I realise now what's so attractive about this show, is that you feel like you've been invited in watch this secret Piracy ring at work.

You feel as though you are sitting right next to the main guy Brian, and reading over his shoulder and watching him as he converses with, hesitates and lies to his girlfriend(?), piracy network friends, and the Asian blackmarket associate.
Basically, it appeals to the voyeristic nature in me.

While the actual camera work is poor (if not non-existent) it's simple nature works well for the shows content, and the story more than makes up for it.

I reccommend to anyone who enjoyed reading this Sandstorming article.

Wow. Just finished watching the first episode of "The Scene", and I actually quite enjoyed it.

It was original, and captivating, and yes i'm sucked in. Whilst the camera position didn't change once during the entire episode, I hardly noticed it.

The story has been brilliantly set-up in this first episode, and I can see the creators have put a lot of thought into it.

Downloading the second ep now :) ...
