Unreal Bands, Playing Live in Real Life

So I have to admit, when I saw gorrilaz were performing at the MTV music awards I was a little surprised. You see, gorrilaz aren’t a real band, they are according to wikipedia:

Gorillaz (pronounced "gorillas") are an animated Britpop collective or supergroup and virtual band, comprising four animated band members: 2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel. The band was created by Damon Albarn (of Blur) and Jamie Hewlett, the creator of Tank Girl.
Gorillaz have earned the Guinness World Record for being the Most Successful Virtual Band.

So how could they play live? Through some freaking cool hologram technology is the answer! This is some damn cool footage, so be sure to check the video out.

Real people “song and play the instruments”? Oh, and “there” is a location pronoun. I believe you were looking for the contraction “they’re”, which is comprised of the words “they” and “are”. This is why we are #100-something in the world in education.

Oh, and the Gorrilaz could play live very easily. Who sings? That person is real, and can stand up on stage and sing. Who does the occaisonal rapping? LIkewise for him. Same for Noodle, same for Murdoc. if the voice talents can’t play anything, get real musicians in there. Ta-da. Morons.
