Scrubs’ Top Ten Music Moments
Scrubs would have to be one of my favourite TV shows ever.
Its original concept, brilliant dialogue, quirky daydream sequences and hilarious actors combine to make a superb show. But it’s the attention to detail, especially music selection, that’s the icing on the already kick-ass cake. (Unfortunately, Channel Seven (Australia) doesn’t seem to think as highly of it, and keeps airing repeats at obscure times such as the middle of the day and 11 o’clock at night. </whinge>)
With the Scrubs season five premiere having aired just a few days ago in the US, I thought it would be a great time to post Stylus Magazine’s “Top Ten Music Moments on NBC’s Scrubs”. The list covers the best music and scenes from the first four seasons, and provides some definite inspiration for downloading. Enjoy.

Hey there, I agree, the scrubs are definitely one of the best shows on television. I myself discovered them about a year ago and have sadly seen every episode. Sadly, as in I can’t watch them for the first time again:) But the link was great, I love reading about scrubs and this helped me find more good music from the show so just wanted say thanx for that;) Anyway, I’m a 22 year old Icelandic filmmaker and If you want to check up on a little of the movies my brother and I have created, the site is www.poppoli.com, check it out for the hell of whydoncha, and while you’re at it, throw another shrimp on the barbie! (always always always wanted to say that:))

Hey, does anyone know what song about changing that they were playing at the end sequence of Scrubs last night? I really loved it, but did not know who it was by or anything about it. Thanks!

I was watching the introduction tonight, and I know they were playing a song rendition of the Wizard of Oz (Over the Rainbow). Does anyone know who the artist is that sings this version?
Thanks.

Pretty good article, but I can’t believe they left out Israel’s “Over the Rainbow” and Colin Hay’s “Overkill”….

How could someone leave out “how to save a life” by the fray? I know the song is a little overused and quite popular but when Dr. Cox kills the three patients trying to get transplants and they all die, with this song playing, its one of the most powerful scenes all time of the show. O its on “My Lunch”

Luke, whoever wrote the piece keeps talking about the ‘four seasons of scrubs’ so obviously it was written after the fourth seasons, my lunch is in the 5th season
