What utter crap. What utter commercial crap. I feel like my ears have been violated. I've listened to the first two CDs so far... and have been really dissapointed... even for a MOS cd. I'm starting to listen to the third (bonus) cd now... which looks like a Classics CD. Had opening day at the YC today. Its always interesting. I really need to do some school work tonight. That is all. Goodbye

I am one of those people who hate breakfast. I mean look at all the options we have for dinner... pasta... steak... mexican... chinese. Yet, for breakfast it is pretty much toast, cereal, yoghurt or fruit. Sure there are a few more hot meals... but they take effort to make. Basically I decided I needed the good stuff in the food, and a few months ago I came up with my super shake for breakfast. It contains all the goodness of:
* Yoghurt
* Milk
* Strawberries
* Icecream

Its nice and easy to make too... and better for you then just a bowl of yoghurt. First of all get all your ingredients out.

Whack all the strawberries into your blender...

Add in your ice cream...

Add the yoghurt...

Add your milk, blend it a little and you are done...

Yummmmm!

IPT assignment is now done. Thats 6 weeks of work finally finished. If anyone here needs a database to hold licence details... and infringements you have had... I am your man. Wasn't too bad of an assignment though. It brought together the past 18 months of work really nicely, and Powell could have picked something more boring. Plus I finished it :D

Apparently the head security chief of microsoft uses Firefox (a rival browser of M$ IE) What bad, bad, bad publicity for microsoft... althought it is not like anyone cares. My music video collection is now over the 1k mark... horah for me :D All day to study maths and english tomorrow... then Saturday to work all day... then sunday to study... a english essay to write on monday... a maths exam on tuesday... and then I have 5 days to film and edit an art film... monday to submit it... and Tuesday to relax. Wait... tuesday is driving around girls schools in brisbane. Damn :D

Wow... its alsmot forty eight hours since I last blogged... shock horror! Call back the search parties though. I'm still alive. Now done the four QCS tests... and godamn am I glad its over. Would suck to do them again. Mentally draining is an understatement. I dunno what else to say about it really. I think everyone actually tried on the day which is very good. Were very few I couldn't do... so hopefully I get the same sort of marks I did on the practice... that'd keep me happy.

Got an email this afternoon from griffith. I expected it to just be them confirming they got my application for advanced entry... but it wasn't. I GOT IN :D Definetly suggest it to anyone coming up to grade 12 in the next few years. Now the absolute worst place I can end up at the end of this year is at Griffith... which is really that bad :D Hopefully I will end up at QUT or UQ though. Only time shall tell.

Some subjects, ie: maths, if you hold your pen 10 seconds too late you'll recieve a fail. Some subjects, ie: BCT, the teachers change how they run the thing at the drop of a hat. I am extremelly pissed at how the last BCT test was run. Biggest problems, in pissed johnsee form:

* Lack of supervision. People talking and copying off screens left right and centre.
* No control over books read during exam.
* Nothing to stop internet searches or emailing of work between students
* The bullshit idea to give more time when it was already stated work would go for only one lesson. People could go home... read up on the maybe... 4 or 5 questions on the text... EMAIL the stuff to school and get full frigging marks. Even easier for the dumbass boarders who can use school computers at night.
* Letting people into the labs afterschool, when not everyone knew of the oppurtunity, and once again... allowing copious amounts of cheating between them.

Is fucking bullshit that they change this stuff halfway through an exam... fucking over the people who actually know the work... and its not even hard! Given the tough standards in the other subjects... why can BCT change this shit halfway through a test. The QSA would be shocked... I am. Fucking bullshit. I hope you all get A's boarders... then you will have something to gloat about when you recieve your OP 25s. Once again I don't want to mention my school... because they would call this stuff slander... and slander is apparetly bad. 1 min left in QCS boys... *click*

And some video, you have to click these... otherwise this page will take ages to load for dial-up users:

The planes dumping and burning over the river. This was really sweet.(about 1.2meg)

Just footage of everyone watching the fireworks (about 200k)

Thats it for now.

I went to riverfire last night... and damn it was cool. The train ride is was interesting in itself... at cannon hill noone else could fit on the train. It was chocka block like I have never seen before. I had a chat to a few interesting people, who were leaning all over me. Even the trains in Italy did not compare to this, and it was almost impossible to fit onto them. These it was impossible. I reached southbank and walked around to Kangaroo Point where there was a party of some description. Some random guy had put about 15 - 20 couches in the park, as well as a heap of matressess, and it was pretty much being enjoyed by about 50 teenagers. The fireworks came... the jets came (god they were cool) and then people started to leave. I'll post pics of the planes/fireworks a bit later. We went for a walk into southbank and screwed around in there for a few hours with a few people we met up with, before I got a train home.

Here is something interesting for you all. A 1 km tall tower in the middle of the outback to provide power. I will say it again... 1 kilometre high. It looks like it is past the concept stage that most of these things fail at. Here is the link Enviromission. This thing looks damn cool. Check out the video on the site too. I really have to go do my 15 minute speech due tomorrow for english extension... but I might blog again tonight with some rivfire pics.
