"An American businessman was at the pier of a small coastal Mexican village on vacation when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellowfin tuna. The American complimented the Mexican on the quality of his catch and asked how long it took to catch them. The Mexican replied onl little while. The American then asked why didn't he stay out longer and catch more fish? The Mexican said he had enough to support his family's immediate needs.

The American then asked, but what do you do with the rest of your time? The Mexican fisherman said, 'I sleep late, fish a
little, play with my children, take siestas with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play guitar with my amigos. I have a very full and busy life, Senor.'

The American scoffed, 'I am a Stanford MBA and I could help you. You should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat. With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats, eventually you would have fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor, eventually
opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You could then leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Mexico City, then LA and eventually NYC where you will run your
expanding enterprise.'

The Mexican fisherman asked, 'But Senor, how long will this all take?' To which the American replied, '15-20 years.'

But what then, Senor?

The American laughed and said that's the best part. When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions...MILLIONS!

But Senor, then what?

The American replied, 'Then you would retire. Move to a small coast fishing village like this, where you would
sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siestas with your wife, stroll"

Lets just start by saying I had a very interesting day at work. What a day to pick to work. We knew it was coming but we never imagined anything like what hit us. There wasnt a great deal of hail but what there was, was about the size of golfballs. Some of the boats below (including the 40 foot cat) were lifted into the air and thrown 20 metres. A couple of the sailing school boats were damaged but nothing to stop me working again today. The pictures arent the best quality because they came off a video camera. We're guessing there was easily over a million dollars of damage. A few of these boats were on the hardstands getting ready for the sydney to hobart :| There were 4 helicopters over the club about an hour after it all happened, all 3 tv stations and an army one. Cranes were there within half an hour. Its sad... so many nice boats :( We abandoned the training boats we were using just as it hit, i have a few pics of it below. Most of these were above the ramp berfore hand (not in the photos though :P) I could keep writing about how amazing everything was... but heres a few crappy quality photos...
