Well I went to big gig last night with a few mates (well I think there was 15 of us at one stage) and well... it rocked. Last year was good, with the highlight definetly being front row at Nosebleed Section, but this year was better still.

I parked at my cousins house with mads and actually convinced him to come as well. What he didnt tell me was just how frucking far from UQ his house was. So it was a good 15 minute hike. The start was shit why we waited for a few different people to get in there, and after a while watching one of the no-namers we wandered over to watch Evermore. Evermore were alright. They only really have one song people know (gg oc) and so it was sort of just everyone waiting for it.. the song rocked though and we then wandered back over to the other stage for Scribe.

We worked our way to about the 4th row back in the middle. Scribes DJ came on stage... and his decks decided not to work. There was no music and thousands of sweaty bodies. I mean sweaty. This mosh pit will foreer be in my mind. I've never been to one more sweaty or cramped in my life. People were bored.. there was no music, so all anyone wanted to do was reach the front of the crowd. By the time scribe was on his second song we bailed to get a drink.

We went back to the other stage to watch spiderbait. They were the closing act for the night... and they were 'fucking awesome.' No glockenpop... but: Buy Me a Pony... Calypso... Fucking Aweome and ending with a ;) fucking awesome ;) 15 minute rendition of black batty. The atmosphere at spiderbait rocked. It was all over by about 11 and I managed to get home at about 1 after dropping people off all over brisbane. fucking bums :)

So in uni 'O' week I visited UQ and Griffith.

Next week I start uni at QUT... havent been there at all. Whats with that :|
